Adding and/or Modifying a product in ZenCart
Recently I have had some requests to put together an outline on how to add and/or modify a products information using Zencart. Since both these procedures are similar, I figured I would get it knocked out in a single article.
One of the great things about ZenCart, is their administration area, and how easily it is to add new products, or modify an existing product. Once you have navigated to your ZenCart administration area (these paths will not be provided in this article for security purposes), then we can begin with the tutorial.
Step 1: Navigating to Products
Once you have opened your store administration, use the drop down menu to navigate to Catalog>Categories/Products.
Step 2: Select the product you wish to edit
Now that you are in the products listing, click on the title of the product you wish to edit.
Step 3: Modify your product information
Now that you are in the products details, simply use the provided options and the rich text editor to modify your products price, details, quantity etc.
Step 4: Save your changes
You will be prompted to review your changes for accuracy, and then click on the save button and you are done. Navigate to the cart store front to review your changes.
